Happy Friday!!!!  I wanted to recommend some stories that are sure to send you into a apoplectic fit for the rest of the weekend, or possibly cause you to hide yourself from the rest of the world as you tuck in to this delicious reading… Just FYI both of these stories are works in progress but the authors post regularly…

First up is “The Misapprehension of Bella Swan” by hunterhunting

Ok I know what you’re thinking…Hockey?… ew! Toothless brutes shoving each other around on some ice…not my thing… And I admit that the reason why I didn’t jump on reading this right away was because I don’t care for the sport… but oh, you will care once you read this juicy story by hunterhunting who also brought us Clipped Wings and Inked Armor. If you read CW&IA and you maybe liked it or loved it whatever….just be advised that this story is nothing like her previous one.  It’s light-hearted, funny, and loaded with lemons (ok, maybe in that way it’s similar)!  Prepare yourselves ladies because Hockeyward is going to make you drool.

I also find myself, like Bella, becoming slightly interested in watching a hockey game… and I did watch my first one the other day and I learned what a hat trick really was… as opposed to the “Cullen Hat Trick”.  The interest in hockey however is only a passing inclination because I’m too glued to my crackberry waiting for updates of this story!!!! It’s rated M for a very good reason…you’ve been warned.

If lots-o-smut isn’t really your thing you might like my second recommendation, “The Family Business” by SuzsPetals

Edward Cullen is a vampire slayer…it’s his families line of business for many generations.  He loves Bella Swan but he feels his line of work is too dangerous for her, so he doesn’t allow himself to let her into his life though he desperately wishes he could.  After being let down by Edward, Bella leaves Forks and goes away to college in Florida.  Sadly, certain circumstances bring her back to the Forks area and into the path of James.  Edward, on a mission to kill a few newborns, discovers her freshly bitten.  There’s nothing he can do to stop her from changing into a creature he’s trained to kill…but he can’t bring himself to do that to her.

What I love most about this story is that it takes twilight and turns it on its head.  I really like how the roles are reversed in this story.  For once Edward is the one constantly in danger and now Bella is afraid if she’s not careful with him, if she doesn’t check herself and have absolute control, she’ll kill him.  Their interactions are very sweet and endearing.  I’m eager to see how this story develops since it’s only 12 chapters in at this point and I really want to see how some issues get resolved. Such as how Bella’s “disappearance” is going to be explained, and how Edward is going to keep Bella a secret from the family.  Can’t wait for more!!

Ok, I hope you check these stories out… try not to get too sucked in

So since he’s on this list… Chris Wietz (miss him!! and the mustard colored pants!) wrote this humorous yet sweet little bit about Rob:

I have to be careful about what I write here because it will be tweeted the moment TIME hits the stands. And if I say something bad about Rob Pattinson, I’m dead meat. That’s the devotion the Twilight films inspire. It’s certainly not how he planned it. And though I am continually impressed by the aplomb with which he handles the hysteria, I occasionally think he would take it all back if given the chance. Because essentially, Rob, 23, is a reserved, bookish sort of specimen, a guy who’d rather spend the night at the corner table in the pub with friends — a bit of a weirdo, frankly, in the best sense.

So how to write about someone who seems to answer Freud’s rhetorical question, What do women want? Perhaps it’s just worth pointing out that it’d be fun to have a beer with him even if he weren’t Edward Cullen. That we haven’t seen a tenth of what he can do onscreen. And that important things, beyond the veil of Hollywood, occupy his time too — music, conversation, ideas, a sense of the absurd. Which, maybe, explains why he never gets to my e-mails. I love you, Rob! Call me!

‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ is a bloodbath for the Cullens
They must battle an army of new vampires controlled by Victoria and this time you’ll get to see their ‘true vampire-ness,’ according to actor Peter Facinelli.

The family that slays together, stays together.

At least that’s the case for the Cullen brood.

In “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” which hits theaters June 30, Seattle is ravaged by a series of killings caused by an army of newborn vampires controlled by revenge-seeking bloodsucker Victoria. To combat the threat against Bella ( Kristen Stewart) in this third installment of the franchise, the Cullens must band together and join forces with their sworn enemies, the wolf pack.

“The whole family is in a vulnerable position because of the love we have for Bella,” said Elizabeth Reaser, who plays matriarch Esme Cullen. “If she’s not OK, we’re not OK.”

In the past, we’ve seen the clan hit baseballs so hard that they can play only in a thunder storm, to block out the sound. And we’ve watched the buttoned-up human imposters welcome Bella into their home as the human girlfriend of one of their own — the handsome Edward.

“This time around, you get to see their true vampire-ness,” said Peter Facinelli, who plays head vampire Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the series based on the bestselling books by Stephenie Meyer.

What can we expect from the pale-faced Cullen family (which includes the Hale siblings) this go around? Here’s what the actors say audiences can expect from the story and their characters:

Facinelli: “For me, as Carlisle, it’s an exciting portion of the series. Carlisle is very compassionate and he has a lot of killing to do in this movie. I joke, after he kills the bad guys, he says he’s sorry in his head. And, you know, he’s calm and level-headed. He’s the rock of the family. He usually has a lot of information to draw from because Alice can see into the future and Edward can read minds. In this third movie, he’s not getting that information. Neither one of his sources are working, so he’s kind of flying blind.”

Reaser: “Esme is still a vampire. She still wants to kill people all day long. It was interesting to get in touch with the vampire side of her in ways that haven’t really been explored. Her family is in danger and that brings out the mama bear in her.

Ashley Greene (as Alice Cullen): “Yeah, she’s delicate and prissy at times, but Alice gets a little edgier with each installment. And with these vampires messing with her family and the people she loves, you’re going to see a bit of her toughness. It’s a reminder to the audience that even though we restrain ourselves at times, we’re still vampires and we’re dangerous. You’re going to see the dark, dangerous side of Alice.”

Kellan Lutz (as Emmett Cullen): “You’re going to see a smile on Emmett’s face from start to finish. He just loves to fight. And there’s a lot of fighting. He sort of plays bigger in this one than the others.”

Jackson Rathbone (as Jasper Hale): “You’ll get to see a little bit of the root of what makes Jasper so withdrawn and quiet in the Cullen family. Fans will get some of Jasper’s back story in ‘Eclipse.’ I got to wear the whole Civil War gear and everything. There’s a bit of the softer and darker side of Jasper in this film.”

Nikki Reed (as Rosalie Hale): “You see a reason for her attitude. I think fans will feel for her. There was a bit of that in ‘New Moon.’ Fans got to see a bit of her sensitive side. Her sane side. Her logical side. And her desire to help her family. This time around, she is much more of a participant. She’s a survivor. This is her family. So if protecting Bella means protecting her family, she’s going to do it.”

Robert Pattinson is set to take another bite out of daytime.

The Eclipse vampire will join Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show in an episode airing Wednesday, May 19, Gossip Cop can confirm. It will be taped the previous day.

It isn’t the first “Ellen” engagement for Pattinson. The star appeared on the program back in November while promoting New Moon. That was the interview in which he described a woman in a public crowd getting naked to get his attention.

Gossip Cop will have more scoops as the June 30 Eclipse release nears.

“There is definitely some [sexual] energy between the two of them,” says executive producer Alan Ball of the dynamic between his newest mane attraction, werewolf Alcide (One Tree Hill‘s Joe Manganiello), and Sookie (Anna Paquin), who team up in season 3 (debuting June 12) to track down her kidnapped beau, Bill. “It’s not like either one of them is looking for romance, but they’re thrown into several intense situations [and] it’s hard not to bond on a deeper level.”

It probably isn’t too tough for Sookie to bond with her animal sidekick on a superficial level, too. “The first shirtless scene [Joe] had I was like, “Who has those abs?” Ball recalls. “He’s in crazy peak physical condition. He’s eating nothing but pure protein. And of course, this being True Blood, he’s already shot his first naked scene. Hello, werewolves when they shift — no clothes!”

So I decided to read up a little more on this Condon fellow on imdb…seems he has a penchant for musicials as the writer for Chicago and writer and director for Dream Girls…So that only means one thing must happen now… Breaking Dawn: THE MUSICAL!!!!! Think about it! Bella’s Blood spewing on stage, some creepy two year old kid bouncing around the theater in a harness and wires, Jacob’s wolf costume (i’m picturing cats here!)…the Volturi and the Cullens (it’ll be just like the Jets and the Sharks facing off against each other)…The huge chorus of vampires at the end… it’s the only acceptable way to make this movie work because musicals = crappy and campy, and Breaking Dawn… welll yeaaaaa……………

Robert Pattinson looked gorgeous and scruffy as he arrived at Heathrow Airport this afternoon in his cap, sunnies and jeans. He had his guitar case for company, but will no doubt be reunited with Kristen Stewart and the rest of the Twilight gang as the cast gather in Vancouver for Eclipse reshoots. We’ve already seen Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner make their way from LAX to Canada so it was only a matter of time until rich Robert joined them.

Kristen Stewart was in her usual travel uniform of jeans and a hoodie when spotted going through security at LAX today. With Eclipse director David A. Slade arriving in Vancouver last week ahead of reshoots, it was only a matter of time before Bella and Edward made the trek back to Canada to finish up the film. The third Twilight installment is, of course, one of your 10 most anticipated of the Summer blockbuster season, and we can’t get enough of last week’s sexy still-filled final trailer. Plus, it gave us a first look at Bella’s engagement ring, which you can even own yourself. Fingers crossed this means a Rob sighting soon too, or if we’re extra lucky both him and Kristen hitting up one of their favorite Vancouver spots.

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner arrived together in Vancouver yesterday to begin a few days of Eclipse reshoots. Lautner, looking lean in a leather jacket, was accompanied by his dad. What a difference a year makes. Just over a year ago, he was a boy trying to convince the world he could be a bigger boy, and Stewart and Nikki Reed were holding hands with him on the street, their new baby brother/pet, working together to try and secure his position pro bono promotion styles. Now?

As for Stewart, you’ll note she seemed in great spirits to be back in town. It’s not that she doesn’t get the game, because she does, but she prefers it played with a long lens, no flash, and if possible, no scrum. Yesterday, she got what she wanted. And therefore gave up a smile. That’s a great smile, non?

But all you bitches want to know about is Robert Pattinson.

He’s expected but he’s yet to be seen….

Mayhem.

Vancouver will play Chicago. They go on Friday or Saturday. And this week, some Twilight people will be back in town to tweak Eclipse. Fever city.

This is Kristen Stewart at LAX this afternoon departing with Taylor Lautner (not pictured). Both of them are travelling with personal security. Because them fans, they be crazy. And they’ll be hunting down locations, downtown restaurants, and hotels, maybe they’ll even be another attempted strangling. Oh wait. That’s New York. This is Vancouver. There are no old freaky ladies in Vancouver? Debatable.

The official party line is that they will not be working on any meadow scenes. Curiously enough however, the meadow permit has been secured and chill your asses on the safety issue. There is no public access to the meadow. No trespassers will trespass. Or… perhaps it’s just a decoy then. After all, a studio never lies. Never, never, never.

As for the content – here’s some good news Twi-Hards: there’s some noise distortion that needs to be fixed in the meadow. So while they’re at it, they can make some other improvements too.

More details to follow later this week. Goddamn this girl has a great face. Look at this face.

Here’s an interview with Daniel Cudmore where he talks about his visit to Australia and his fight scene with Rob in New Moon…

Daniel Cudmore, who plays evil Volturi vampire Felix, and Booboo Stewart, who plays young werewolf Seth Clearwater, are among the stars of the Twilight Saga movies in Sydney and Melbourne for the Australian Twilight Convention.

At 6-feet-7 (1.83 metres), muscle-bound Canadian actor Cudmore isn’t hard to miss.

But out enjoying his first trip to Australia he’s yet to be spotted by Twihards.

“I’ve just walked around the whole city,” Cudmore told AAP in Sydney.

“For some reason people don’t associate me with some of the roles I’ve played.

“I think a lot of people in the city looked at me wondering what sport I play.”

Cudmore did start out as a football player in Canada, before getting into stunt work and acting.

His breakthrough role came in the X-Men films, using his height to his advantage playing Colossus.

The fantasy films have plenty of fans, but Cudmore says it’s nothing compared to the reaction to the Twilight series.

“It’s more intense, there’s so much more passion,” he said.

“I think maybe because it’s a newer phenomenon, whereas X-Men has been around for such a long time through the comic books and the movies.”

Cudmore’s character Felix is a Volturi thug whose day-to-day job is “tearing apart other vampires”.

He says Felix is a nasty piece of work, but a joy to play.

“He’s an angry vampire, he doesn’t really get much respect, and he’s been around for thousands of years … and he’s just really, really good at what he does,” Cudmore said.

“It’s a fun character – it’s fun to play someone dark, who goes on the animal side and enjoys it.”

The physical role included a fight scene with Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward.

Pattinson is a heartthrob to Twilight fans the world over, but Cudmore said the handsome actor was keen to do as much of his own stunt work as possible.

“Rob’s a great guy, he’s really game for anything,” Cudmore said.

“He was nervous at first, because he was like, `you know I’m not the most athletic guy out there, I don’t think I’m going to be able to do this’.

“After rehearsing for a few hours he was really, really having a good time with it. He had a blast.”

Twilight fans can get up close to Cudmore, Stewart, and co-stars Gil Birmingham (Billy Black) and Christian Serratos (Bella’s friend Angela) at the Twilight Conventions in Sydney and Melbourne on April 24 and 25.

The third Twilight film, Eclipse, will be released in Australia on July 1.
